Farm Policies & Planning Tips
A Few Simple Rules and Things to Know…
- SMOKING: Our Farm is smoke-free & alcohol/drug free. Smoking is only allowed in the parking lot.
- MONEY: We accept cash, Texas checks (with proper i.d.) , Visa, MasterCard and Discover.
- PETS: Only pets assisting the handicap are allowed on the premises.
- CHILDREN: Carefully watch your children while on the farm to ensure their safety.
- WEATHER: Extreme, unforeseen weather can force us to close at any time.
- ATTIRE: Dress as if you are going camping. We don’t recommend sandals or flip-flops. Wear shoes conducive to walking. Remember that you will be on a farm, so dress for the weather for the best experience.
- ACCESSIBILITY: We are a real working farm with unpaved, uneven surfaces. Strollers, wagons and wheelchairs can be brought on the premises, but it may be bumpy in spots!
- RESTROOMS: We have clean port a potties with hand washing stations.
- ANIMALS: Please feed only the food provided in the coin operated dispensers for our animals. They are all on special diets! Visitors are not allowed to enter their pens.
- FISHING: We offer catch-n-release fishing weekends in October or at privately scheduled birthday parties. No outside fishing poles are allowed. We provide a cane pole ( and bait) for your use while on the farm.
- FOOD: With our yummy selection of food, we do not allow outside food or drinks to be brought into the farm- except that school children may bring lunches for their weekday field trips. Another exception would be for folks bringing birthday cakes and treats to a party. We appreciate your understanding this policy.
