Winnie’s getting close!

It shouldn’t be long now!  A miniature donkeys gestation period is 11-14 months. Wow! That’s a long time for a mini- baby!  Winnie is getting wider and winder and lower and lower to the ground. We find her laying down more and more taking a load off of her hooves! It also appears that that her patience for her honey, Mr.Eyore, is not now what is used to be! We can’t wait for the big day and to meet her precious mini foal! Miniature donkey foals typically weigh 20-30 pounds. I wonder how much of that weight will be ears alone??? Stay tuned!
