It’s an Excursion In the Fall!

Public or private school field trips are geared for Pre-K through 3rd-grade students. Each field trip includes informative learning sessions about agriculture.  The field trip experience includes the students learning while making a craft (included in the fee), and the students always have something to take home!

September 21- November 12, 2021
Tuesday-Friday (closed Mondays)
Fee: $8.50 per student

Teachers and Teacher Aides FREE with proper ID.
Field trip begins at 10:00am. The farm closes at 1:30pm.
Parents/siblings are $10 per person, 2 & under are free (optional $2 fee to participate in the craft)

Teachers, please DO NOT collect parent money in advance. We prefer parents to pay upon arrival to receive their required wristband and pre-order their lunch.

Form of payments accepted from schools:  Check, cash, credit card or PO.

Each Fall field trip includes the following:

  • A scenic hayride through the Christmas tree fields
  • Feed and learn about our farm animals
  • Paint a mini pumpkin to take home
  • Learn about the life-cycle of a pumpkin
  • Play on our oak-shaded playground
  • Eat your picnic lunch at our picnic tables under our covered pavilion
  • Following lunch enjoy various mazes, shaded playground and game stations

Upgrade: Add Gem Mining!

Add the experience of gemstone mining at the Abbie Rose Mining Company to the basic package — for only $5.00 more. Your students will love searching for treasure in this hands-on activity and they will have a great souvenir to take home! The deluxe package is $13.50 per student.

Shop+Eat: Mason Jar Market

We have many yummy snack and lunch options:  Lunch calls for an all beef Nathan’s hot dog, grilled cheese sandwich, or a 7″ pizza. Other treats to eat are: Nachos, Frito pie, cookies, FreeziePops, pickles and candy! In addition to food, we have shopping opportunities! You’ll find great souvenirs for the kids and unique gift items for parents and teachers.
