Field Trips

School Field Trips

Public or private school field trips are geared for Pre-K through 3rd-grade students. Each field trip includes informative seasonal learning sessions about agriculture — and lots of time and space to do what kids do best! Play!

Spring Field Trips

March 21 -May 19, 2023 Tuesday – Friday only.
Fee: $8.50 per student; Teachers and Teacher Aides FREE with ID. Parents/siblings $10 each. Age 2 & under free, optional $2 fee for craft. Reservations required.

Homeschoolers

April 4 & May 3 are reserved exclusively for homeschool groups. 9am-2:00pm
$10 per person, 2 & under free. Includes everything in Spring or Fall adventures! Pre-purchase tickets to ensure entry.

Fall Field Trips

2023 Dates TBA
Tuesday – Friday only.

All Field Trips include:

A scenic hayride through the Christmas tree fields.
Feed and learn about our farm animals.
An agriculture-related learning session.
Play on our oak-shaded playground.
Eat your picnic lunch at our picnic tables at Market Hall.
Following lunch enjoy various mazes, activities and game stations.

In the Fall …
Learn how pumpkins grow! You can paint your own mini-pumpkin to take home -or- enjoy a seasonal craft, depending on our pumpkin supply.

In the Spring …
Learn the ladybug lifecycle and how beneficial they are to Christmas trees! Also, the 4 Bs pollinators:  bees, birds, bugs and bats. Make a craft to take home.

Mining for treasure at the Abbie Rose Mining Company for only $6.00 more. Students search for treasure in this hands-on activity — and have a great souvenir to take home!

Shop at the Mason Jar!

You’ll find great souvenirs for the kids and unique gift items for parents and teachers. Take home a munchy bag of Kettle Corn! Look for books and toys, too. Wanna know more about the Mason Jar? Go here!

What’s for Lunch!

Order Nathan’s all beef hotdogs [or] grilled cheese sandwiches (on Texas toast) with chips — or a yummy 7-inch pizza! Other treats: Nachos, cookies, hand dipped Blue Bell ice-cream, kettle corn, and plenty drink options.

Good to Know …

Teachers, please do not collect parent/siblings money in advance.
